You will be very happy with this new M. It's a beast!! My only "fear" was lag. But I did't feel any lag until now. I can't wait to finish break-in now! Good luck for the wait

Awesome!!!
Yes it is an amazing machine! Seems clearly faster than E9x M. It feels also lighter. Especially when driving downhill.

Looks like a lot of stuff fits in the trunk.
Yes I agree I didn't go above 3000 rpm so far but I already feel that it has more power specially with low rpm. Also - I do not miss my E92 Sound because I like the deep Sound of the M4. |

I didn't rev above than 5500 rpms. Once I hit 6000 because I downshifted instead of upshift lol. Break-in is important for me because I plan to keep the car at least 3-5 years... And maybe until the next M3/4. I miss a bit the S65 sound. My E92 had Akra slip-on so it sounded very nice but the sound of this S55 is surprisingly good!! The other good thing is that there is no lag in normal driving. This is very important when you are coming from S65. In the end of the day I don't think I will miss my E92... This F8X will be a brillant car for sure!!

Hi Guys - mine is for delivery in week 39, can't wait. already bugging the dealer regarding the possibility to change interior color (went for full leather Merino black, but I'd prefer the Cohiba brown as I had that on the E92 335 and loved it). color is Moonstone, again had that on the 335 and still love it.
otherwise, basically all the options there are, beside of course sunroof (who wants to lose the carbon roof ????). and just mailed the dealer about black kidney grills, side grills and carbon DCT shift knob to be fitted before delivery, will get a price quote soon hopefully for that. aaah the wait |

interior individual colors for M4 aren't available until March 2015. extended leather in some individual colors is already available for the M3 now, but no full leather yet. I really hope there won't be any delays... |

Have you ever seen moonstone in person? A friend of me told me that it didn't look nice on an E92 M3 he saw. He told me Mineral White was way better looking.

I had a E92 335i x-drive Coupé for the last 5 years and LOVED it - only pity is that I couldn't get the Cohiba Brown leather seats as I had in the E92, so I went for black. didn't want to wait until spring when more colors will be available for the seats.

Hi every Swiss M3/M4 enthousiast.
After 4.5 years with my Z4 35is, I just ordered the new M4. It should be delivered in week 50 (last one available this year). I ordered it with pretty much everything except Ceramic brakes, tinted back windows and active protection. However, I've got a simple question. In order to unlock video and TV while driving (I did that on my Z4) I ordered an OBDII device to do so. However, can anyone point me where the OBDII port is located on the M4 and how to access it ? is it easy ? Thank you.
