I'm a massive Klassen fan ever since I saw Wes Howell's Alpine White E92 on M52s.

http://www.klassenid.com/gallery/gal...e1451186124078

I ended up buying those wheels from Wes and had them on my E92 for a while.

The lesson learned through that process was that I'm not as into 20s on my M3 as I thought I would be. I got on the phone to Klassen direct and the owner, Frank Lee, picked up the phone. We hit it off right from the start. He knew of my car from the forum photos I posted and suggested I give his new wheel design a try, the M52-R. Since I wanted 19s and PSI was due to become a dealer, we set something up to get my Le Mans Blue on the newer wheels. I can't explain how much I loved that car. The only reason I sold it was in favor of a 911.

Before ordering my F80 in 2014, Frank and I were talking about the new MS-03 design he based off of the GT3 Cup Car. After a few iterations of barrel designs, I now have my Klassen MS-03 in 19s that clear my CCBs! As always, I'll have photo and video overload, so keep checking back for more updates (assuming the wheels interest you).

Keep in mind, I'm just sharing my ownership experience. I paid for these wheels and have no affiliation with the company outside of being a consumer. So I hope you won't misconstrue this post as an advertisement. I'm just a manic and like the details, so I'm sharing what I now know.

Specs

19x9.5 5x120 et 20 front - weight is 18.8 lbs
*We have a little more dialing in on the fronts. I was rubbing the KW Sleeve Kit. We know these offsets fit with V3s. I'll update when adjusted.

19x11.5 5x120 et 45 rear - weight is 20.6 lbs
*Perfect for me, but a slightly more aggressive offset will work.

MSRP $ 7600.00 set of 4 wheels

Custom Colored Logos 600.00 set of 4 wheels (Both Klassen & Forged Logos colored)

Tires
Yokohama Advan AD-08R
265-35R19
305-30R19

Details
*1-piece monoblock construction
*Modern Concave & Spoke Design
*Aerospace - grade 6061-T6 forged aluminum for high strength to weight ratio
*Side cuts & backpad pocketing are standard to minimize unsprung mass and rotational inertia for max performance and handling
*CNC machined to custom specifications for your specific application
*OE TPMS compatible
*Installation kit provided with wheels (locks sold separately)
*Centerlock applications available
*Limited Lifetime Warranty

I took some photos of unboxing.

I test fitted OEM TPMS. No issues, works like a charm.

I had two choices. Load everything up in the M3 or trade cars with my wife for the day. I chose the former.

Removed the Turner 15mm spacers.

More meat means more weight. I chose to AD-08Rs despite them being substantially heavier than PSS.

I learned my lesson having had wheels locked onto the hub before. I used a wire brush and simple grease to make sure that doesn't happen again.

I was finally able to get the car washed, but it was too late to get any daytime photos. I grabbed my Fenix flashlight and attempted to lightpaint. I'm sure I will have tons of additional photos to post.

Great looking wheels! Your car is sitting perfect. I'm not sure if you've had a chance to drive it much but, can you tell a difference in the slightly heavier wheels? Can you feel any vibration at all or is it as smooth as with the factory wheels?

I'd hope those wheels were smooth riding. With the engineering that went into them, they should be in almost near perfect balance. My CCW were just about perfect on the machine as well. I'm anxious to see how my Volks stay up on the machine.

I would hope so as well. I have a coworker that has an E90 and is on his 3rd set of after market wheels because he always feel a slight vibration that can't be corrected with balance or alignment. I don't think the wheels my coworker has purchased are of this quality though.

You shouldn't see any issues with a top notch manufacturers.

Interesting that he's been through three sets.

EDIT: You're in Nolanville? I work on Hood.

Crap, I don't know what the heck Google has done to sharing! They are all publicly shared. Apparently you have to be logged into your Google account to see the images. I guess I'm going to have to find somewhere else to host my photos. I've been using the same process for hosting/sharing photos for years.

I have only driven it around the block, but all of my Klassen wheels in the past have been rock solid at triple digit speeds.
