Haha thank you I didn’t think it was unreasonable. Aside from the request that “I need it tonight” which I realized probably wasn’t gonna happen.

I don't know if this is the only issue, but there seems to be some variation between some types of b58 coils where the springs supplied with the kits make contact with some types but not all (I posted pics from a thread about this a few posts back). I don't know if it's clear if this was a design change to the b58 coil, or variation between manufacturers. If you have the coils that don't make contact, the car can still run because the voltage is high enough to jump the gap and get to the spark plug, but the motor may not run right because the energy gets used up jumping two gaps vs. just having to jump the spark plug gap. That and you get the coils burning up from that spark jumping where it shouldn't need to. I know Nexsys was offering to send different springs to customers who had this problem, but this was probably a year or two ago. I assumed people making b58 coil conversions would eventually work all these bugs out, but don't know if that's happened yet.

No, I run stock gap of 0.022" but I dont get any spark blowout and it also helped clean up some timing corrections.

Most modern spark plugs create a strong spark, even more so with the B58 coils. There is a point of diminishing returns with expanding the plug gap.

I have a funny data, with BM3 “Nexsys” selected. Timing is horrible, higher gear high rpm misfire CEL. I tried different gap and switching around coils with no difference after testing. I’d say it got me 20 times CEL on the road. When “OEM” selected, timing is perfect in all kinds of ways, no misfire with plugs/gap/coils untouched.
