The launch control is the best in drag?

Hi,

with purturbo, my F80 M3 is 659whp,
But my best record was 11.04 for 1/4mile drag racing,

I saw, with stock turbo, someguy did 10.XX

Please let me know how I set for best starting,
When I try launch control, I feel some lack, maybe it is turbo lack??
I don't think the BMW M Launch control is not work quickly.

Someone can give me advice for better drag start?

This is my setting for launch control
Sport plus
VDC off
DCT level 3

For drag racing, sport plus is better than sport?
There is a better way than launch control to start without turbo lack?

LC is best, most consistent way. At least for us mere mortals. What tires you running? That's probably your issue.

1st: Set your M1 button configuration to sport plus engine, suspension, steering, and set the transmission to S3 or the highest non manual setting. Turn off DSC and MDM (everything off). Plus around the water box and straighten out in your lane. Hit the M1 button twice. Get a few car lengths behind the staring line and wait for the last racers to get half way down the track. Floor the car fast and let it spin into second as you spin past the starting lights. Back up behind the lights.

2nd: Set your M2 button configuration to Sport Plus engine, comfort suspension and comfort steering. Turn off traction control and mdm. Put trans omission in highest MANUAL setting. (I think it's S3 - both the + and - lights will be lit. Pull up slow until you trigger both yellow staging lights. Hold your left foot on the brake and floor the gas fast. A race flag will display. Use the left cruise control knob to lower the launch rpms to 2400 if you struggle for traction. Keep the car floored and let your foot off the brake when the second yellow starting light is fully lit. It should get you a reasonable reaction time. let the car shift into 2nd gear automatically. Look at your dyno charts to figure out your shift points. The stock ones do great shifting around 6-,6200 rpms manually into 3rd gear above. The real issue is in >4500 rpms in second. Good luck. Get those tires hot.
