Did anyone run the CSL OTS map yet? I'm wondering what the difference is between CSL and Stage 1.

Upon checking the OTS maps on the BM3 app, I now notice that both CS and GTS have been updated. Given that this coincides with the same time that the CSL map was also added, my guess is they updated those respective maps to reflect the latest I-level changes Not sure though. You should join the group if you haven't and check to see what the changes were.

BTW does the agent allow you to make custom changes to the burbles etc?

So I tried playing with the burble feature last night:
Was running v5 with no problems. So I decided to edit v5 map. Exhaust burble type: Custom Duration: 3.5 sec Duration sport: 3.5 sec Aggression: 2 Cold start: OEM Exhaust: Open My car only burbles at revs now. Basically nothing when I am rolling 1-2-3 and down. I also, didn't wait 20 sec's after flash, I started the car. Dumb move! I got lane departure error & Now I get Drivetrain check soon warning. I tried clearing codes... It is still there. I scanned car with my OBD scanner, says no codes or powertrain faults. Do I have to reset the battery???? I tried going from my GTS Trans Flash to OEM, that failed as well 15x in a row. I noticed v7 is out, so I flashed to v7 hoping it will re-write the faults. v7 flashed, car starts fine, drives fine. Burbles are only when I'm in Neutral and 1st gear upto 3.5k RPM 2nd gear upto 2k RPM only. Down shifts from 3-2, just pops, no burbles anymore. I would say v7 is almost 70% less burbles than v5 that I was running for a good 1.5 months now, no problems. So I don't understand how they say v7 burbles improved??? |

Burbles are broken compared to Ver.6. Only burbles at a stop in neutral, 1st gear up to 3k and 2nd gear up to 2k. Exactly like yours. Definitely NOT an improvement in burbles, lol. Need to flash back to Ver6 for now until it's fixed, other than the burbles did PTF tweak the V7 for more power? The car felt like a BEAST haha, maybe it's just readapting. |

I tried version 7 last night and made adjustments to the custom burble settings.
Definitely sounds better than version 5 or the custom changes I made in the CS version 0. However, if you have made changes to your custom settings, make sure that the changes were saved and the file says "downloaded." If it says "Has Update" or nothing after saving, there's a good chance the changes haven't been applied. On the CS it was stuck at "Has Update" and I then hit request update, BM3 sent me the file in a day or so.

Idk who is having trouble with burbles well not this guy. I switched from V6 to V7 this morning. I can tell you I get burbles ALL the time 1,2,3,4 gears, at idle. Sport/sport+ you name burbles are there and loud.
All I did was download V7 n flash to my car that’s it no other settings were touched. For reference 2017 M3 ZCP with only drop in filters. |

I just flashed back to v6, all is well with the burbles.
v7 I barely had any burbles. Everything is good, except I have Drivetrain Soon warning still on. I guess I will re-set the battery terminal see if that clears it up. Currently have GTS Trans flash but it keeps failing trying to go to OEM Trans setting. I've tried over 20x now... Isn't there a way to just download that map to my laptop? It tries to download from their servers first then flash it. |

I never had that fuel light problem, so never had the need for that Re-code button. Update: I just flashed with the Re-code button and it cleared things up. Drivetrain soon light is off now. I drive shows all systems Ok. No check engine, nothing. Took the car out, runs light a champ. But I just ran diagnostics scan and It shows 2 codes: Climate Control (IHKA3) E71470 E71472 No description available. I am sure it is nothing. I pressed clear codes but It says cleared but those codes remain. Should I press re-code again? Last edited by JBM4; 04-24-2018 at 04:53 PM.. |

Stage 1 version 7 was out last night. Now there's version 8 out today.
I appreciate the fact PTF is constantly improving but if they could just post what the revisions or changes are, it would definitely help.

Agree. Knowing what each flash tune has done to my car will be great.
