But not sure I can drop a $1000 for it.

Nevertheless very cool! Really enjoyed the video too! Thanks for posting!
Got an Awron unit already set aside for our shop M4, which arrives this week.

same here, I like it as i like all gimmicks that can be had with the car, but I'm OK with the onboard provided function (the gauges showing in the navi panel, only torque and HP if I remember correctly). cool though !

that's what I wanted to ask - isn't there a iPhone app with the sender interface pluggable to the service port, transmitting via Bluetooth, even low-energy BT perhaps as it is constantly transmitting? could place the iPhone in the ashtray bay without having to remove the air vent, would do it for me.

About 1.5 hours at most, pricing is available on our website. If you can change your own oil, you shouldn't have any trouble installing the Awron display.

Congrats to Subaru. I can get full eating at McDonalds too, but prefer something just a little better.

Everything is immediate and real time, boost IS delayed on purpose. The S55 actually operates as a NA motor until a certain RPM then incorporates the turbos. With the Awron, it's interesting to see how Eco pro, Sport and Sport + all have different points as to when the turbo is actually turned "activated". Eco Pro holds off on using boost for a surprisingly long time, where as sport plus is almost immediate

Definitely no lags or delays, that's actually the part that makes this thing so cool in my opinion

Some of the displays show a real-time meter (the bar that moves), plus a numerical peak readout.

Very interested
Thanks.
Side vents are really useful for defogging your side windows.

When I received my BMW survey on how they can improve the car, I did mention to them that they could add these metrics to the iDrive display like how the Nissan GTR does. I doubt they would care to implement anyways.

I've never used them for that, will look into it tho. I still will sacrifice
the side vent rather then the center vent. In Texas AC is a must.

Just looked on the Awron website and they do one for the 335d but it says 2012 one only?? Why?? Cause all the 318's, 320's and 330's etc are from 2007 upwards which is still strange as the car was fist made in 2005 but anyway! Why would the 335d be 2012 only?? I'm interested just because I have a 2006 335d and would be a nice touch to the car and....would the display only go up to the standard BHP (286) or would it show the tunned (Ie actual BHP)???

Haha! Opps silly me! Answered my own question! And as BMW changed the engine in some cars ie from n57 to m57 or whatever, there was a few German words that I didn't understand which were ab (from) and bis (to) so the 335d gauge is compatible with all 335d's made from 2005 (beginning of production) to 2012 (end of production) and it was the only 3 series model where they didn't change from n to m engines when the facelift happened! So all the other 3 series models are compatible with a gauge, which one depends on what engine you have and if it is pre-engine change (ie n-m) or not! So will hopefully be purchasing an Awron gauge for my 335d soon!
