This is where MB AMG just buries BMW. Rode in a buddies 2014 C63 AMG to Vegas. 4 hours there and 4 back. That stock exhuast is just a think of beauty. Put a smirk on my face when he got on it. Something so natural sounded great. Yes, yes, I know its a v8 vs I6 but still; not even the S65 sounded as good (exhaust).

Don't get me wrong I love BMW but appreciate other brands as well. And it remains to be seen, well heard; what the new TT V8 MB sounds like.

But shelling out 5k plus for sound? Call me cheap or frugle, but i just couldn't ever do it. Rather pay 5k on my loan first. For those who can afford to buy their car outright, more power to you.

Or just wait for the GThaus/Meisterschaft exhaust. They seem to have the most raucous sounding exhausts, and I think they also have valves as well. The ones for the V8 cars are just sublime.

Akropovich would have better video sound than that to exhibit their exhaust. No low end makes that M4 sound like a piece of shit!

It's probably $7k. E92 was $6k, f10 is about $8k. If it is $7k then that's a lot of dough! Even $6k is a lot of money for an exhaust!

Doesn't AMG get the exhaust setups from Eisenmann though? It'd be like the M4 coming from the factory with this Akra set up (which it should...)

But I completely agree, OE BMW exhausts tend to leave much to be desired.

I said it a couple of pages ago and I'll say it again. For anyone who doesn't want to spend the $7k (or whatever it will cost), if an OEM Exhaust Mod (non-perforated) ends up being an option then I would HIGHLY recommend it if it's anything like the E9x sound. $350 and sounds amazing! I honestly didn't like my E93 M3 when I first bought it, as it was way too quiet, but since my OEM Exhaust Mod I have absolutely loved my car, especially with the roof down

Not at all. I really wanted to like it but the clip just sounds weak. Need to hear it IRL to get the full sound spectrum. Im sure it has more low tone grunt than this video shows or at least I'm hoping.

Tips on Megan muffler and 99 percent of people won't know the difference since this sounds like a 4 cylinder
