Torn CV boot on 2016 M4

CV boot is torn and leaking grease, mechanic says they don’t do boot replacements and axle needs replacing. Unfortunately axles are back ordered until June-July. Is there any temporary fix or boot kit out there for these cars?

I was recently told the same on my F82, to my knowledge the inner splines could be cracked/damaged so it’s best to just replace the whole thing.

I got my axles from here, so far so good, no complaints. It seems the left one is instock, but the right one is on back order.
