HELP! Beginner Exhaust and mods.

Hi fellas.

I was wondering what the best "budget" exhaust system is. I just want a little better/louder sound. Also, what are the first mods I should do. I'd like bang for buck...

honestly just get the active auto mid pipe and a jb4 so you have the can bus valve controller that's what I'm running right now and it's tits !

Cheapest and quickest is probably a valve controller, and then downpipes, and then if you're really determined, an aftermarket mid pipe or straight pipe setup.

Replace secondary catalytic converters to magnaflow mufflers, replace resonator with x-pipe. Cost me $300 for parts and $110 for cutting/welding.

Best bang for the buck in terms of mods will always be ECU Software.

There is no other single upgrade (or even combination of upgrades for that matter) which will provide HP / TQ gains remotely close to software.

You may even want to consider the HEX Tuning software ahead of any exhaust modifications as you might be pleasantly surprised by the improved acoustics that our software provides.

From there you can decide whether you want more volume, deeper tone, more/less rasp, etc...

I did this at first and the active mid pipe would cost about $500 more and sounds waaaaaay better.....

JB4 IMO.

-switchable maps to many power levels
-ability to run alternative fuel mixes
-ability to control active sound, led brightness, exhaust valves, etc all from your steering wheel. Opening up the exhaust valves all the time will give you more volume and less farts.
-budget friendly
-much more

Cheers

Muffler delete, no drone and more sound. Cost will be about (depending on the area, as they will need to be welded) 200$ w/ the tips. It just a louder more rumbly sound. More pops and burbles plus the tips look good!

If you want more than budget go for the AWE I have heard it is the best bang for the buck exhaust system.

Best sound are purely opinionated on your taste. Check out some youtube videos or regional section to hear some in person, that's really the only way to do it.

On a budget for a full exhaust system? Check out the BMS, keep in mind it's loud!

Catback exhaust BMS is the best budget exhaust

You can also do Active Autowerke Midpipe plus catless downpipes

REMUS lowered their prices on exhausts as well, the axle back price is very attractive
