What happened to the poor E46?? QUOTE]

Hi, and thanks! An artifact of "high dynamic range" mode on the camera where it combines several exposures into one image. Plus that E46 was zipping by rather quickly.

Epic, now if only i could freaking decide between getting a 997 TT or new M4. . . DAMN IT!! You guys look like you had a blast, I think we should get Bimmerpost to put another one of these together in the next 6 months to a year.

So BMW must have relieved break-in requirements and non-track use warranty disclaimer?

Were there any hot laps done by Sabine? Didn't see any pics or anyone mentioning anything about that.

The detailing cleaner was from "Poorboys." It wasn't a name I was familiar with, but checked when I got home and they have a UK website. Anyway, after that was sprayed on the bugs wiped right off. And that was impressive as bugs usually stick to my cars! Probably because I don't have a brand new car and don't clean it instantly.

But they wiped off like nothing.
Thank you!! I need this ...

I just realised, I was parked next to your 928! What an AWESOME car!! I'm contemplating getting one of these end of this year (or 850i) but a bit scared to be it a money pit...Can I bore you a bit via PM? ...

My take on the colors after seeing them:
- MW is just incredible...in some lighting it's almost matt white, shows the lines very well...my favorite...
- AW almost the same, but just a tiny bit too flat for me
- MG...I have this color on my F31 and I love it...on the M4/3 it seems a bit too understated, not popping enough for me...still an awesome color... can't go wrong here...
- SB, you can't go wrong with it, but is very discreet...looks very nice, just not enough 'pop'...
- SO...well, to be really honest, I was a bit disapointed...it's a bit too classy for a sporty car imo...nice color, just does hide the 'sportiness' of the car...in sun it's amazing, in shadow a bit 'dull', but ymmv...
- YMB, amazing, but I don't have the balls to order it ... really standing out...
- AY, see YMB, with an additions that I would have to have even bigger balls...amazing on the M3, I would be just a bit afraid that it will get old quickly...
