just searched the M3 F80 owners manual and there is no mention of a tire temperature indicator. Shame. Still waiting for uae to confirm though.

Hello,

Wonderful car you got there! Can you tell me about the price guide for M3 and M4 in the UAE?

uae247 - first of all thanks for your review and all the information, extremely helpful.

I noticed on the driving modes videos in the end the navigation screen displays Power and Torque, is there any other displays options for car diagnostic like boost, G-meter etc?

It's been a very long time since I have updated the thread.
Glad to see others picking up and enjoying their M3s

Couple of updates
Car has two recalls
1-DCT software-already done
2-Front suspension-shock replacement-not done yet

The car feels fast day to day and in traffic. I still hate how it sounds in the mornings and while crawling in traffic. 1M and E90 M3 sound way way much better.
Still
This car performs and grips so well.

Guess the performance exhaust is a must.

Thx for the update and great to hear the performance is right on even though the exhaust sound isn't

Did they say what the issues was for the shock?

UAE247 how does the M3 make you feel emotionally compared to the other high performance cars at your disposable? Do you feel like it's a big upgrade from a 435i with a tune?

It sounds like the windows are too tight and the sound disappears when I lower the windows. So, shall I just drive with windows down or??
Great Q to ask the other recent F8x delivery folks. Let's hope it's not related to the CF roof.

No it doesn't (...at least not on U.S. cars ). You have to code it to enable that locked feature on the F3X. By default it shows the temp, not the pressure.

Interesting!

I would troubleshoot by:
1) test each window lowered to see if it is restricted to one
2) apply BMW recommended lubricant to edge of window
3) test each window at rest by lowering part way, holding window with hands and checking movement -- creaking noise may involve movement of seal or door fitment.
4) this gets techy: when I have sound goblins I use my stethoscope. Creaking could be in door/window mechanism that moves when window raised. Localizing sounds in a car can be really hard because they bounce around. Sound could also be coming from somewhere completely different, and it only it noticeable with windows to bounce off of (and quiet cabin).

Best of luck & thanks for all your contributions!

Aren't the windows/doors the exact same as the regular 3-series?
