Tracks in Ontario
Hey Everyone!
So I'm trying to find a good track around Ontario to try out. Preferably around the GTA, does anyone have any suggestions or first hand experience with any tracks? |

If you have never been into a track. I would not start with Mosport. Try Cayuga first - good technical track that doesn't involve a tonne of speed, no elevation change and plenty of run off.

I'd definitely recommend DDT over Cayuga. Flat is boring, elevation change is fun! Besides, I don't like how there is a wall alongside the track right after turn 12 - not safe. Either way, OP please go to a properly run DE event with instruction. Not one of these lapping day events that are spammed all over the forum, with no instruction, no safety, and no oversight. |

Thanks for all the info. I'm planning to go sometime in the next 1.5 months so if you're doing the event around that time I might consider joining if I'm not busy on that specific day.

+1 for DDT at Mosport.
you might want to check out hanson driving school. They have an event at Mosport DDT with instructor and class. I went to 2 of them this year and they are great. Around $280 and you get 5 sessions of 20 minutes on the track + in class session + skidpad sessions + LUNCH!! I believe they have 1 more class on Oct 24. http://www.hansoninternationaldriving.com/ If you are more experienced, then you can try touge.ca ... they run lap days, but without instructors (you can ask for instructor, but its like an additional $80). They have a cayuga run coming up and then a DDT @ mosport on Thanksgiving Monday. Cheers. |
