Black exterior window molding scratched

The black molding on the front door below the window has about 1.5 inch scratch in it. The scratch will catch you fingernail sliding across it. Any suggestion on how to repair?

Easiest way for me. Take it to a good vinyl wrap shop. If they are good. They can remove the whole piece and wrap it gloss black. Worked for me.

Thanks. I will ask the guy that installed my PPF. I found the website below that sells door parts below. If I am on the right page the part looks like it is cheap. Does any one know which part it would be?

Maybe try Novus plastic polish?
