XPEL Install - Asheville

Looks like the only one is Auto Armor. Anyone have any experience with them? Got a quote for full frontal (full hood, full fenders, bumper, mirror backs, door cups, and door edges) for $1199. Thoughts?

If you're in Asheville, you could consider coming to Greenville SC to Extreme Colors. I know they placed the XPEL on all the M's at the Performance Center

Well - i live in Tampa - but I'm from (and my parents and siblings still live in) the Asheville area. I would consider Greenville - but would have to leave it and spend the night in a hotel or rent car and drive up to AVL while it's being done. Easier to drop in AVL and stay with family if AutoArmor is a trusted source.

But - perhaps Extreme can do it after delivery and i can pick it up that night and let it cure at home? Thanks for the suggestion - I'll look into it

Why not get it done in Tampa so if something comes up later you can take it back to the shop that did the install?

Otherwise, I'll just say Asheville is a great spot to visit. My wife and I have been there the last 2 years (with dogs) and will probably make another trip this year.

doing pcd and then driving 650 miles back to tampa on either I-75 or I-26 to I-95 without protection on it seems like a bad idea with my pickiness about this car. i could tracktape it, but since i'll be at my parents place for a night or two anyway, might as well get it done there

I wouldn't let it cure outside of the shop where it's placed. If there's an issue, then you have to bring it back.

I used Auto Armor recently for my full front-end Xpel application. Mike is great- detailed and a perfectionist, just like me! Highly recommended.

I did mine last year at Extreme Color. Dropped it off after delivery at around 4pm then they took me to a hotel in downtown Greenville. Was on the road around 4 the next day headed to Jax Fl. They did a great job and I have not had any issues.Did the full frontal and rear bumper. Good luck hope that helps.
