Incredible build, I applaud you for the individuality and definitely subscribed for more pics
Question for you Dr. Who, I asked this in another thread but I don't think anyone has tried or inquired on it, is custom colored seatbelts an option with BMW individual? I wanted to order black interior with SO Contract stitching and SO colored seat belts Last edited by nano10; 05-11-2017 at 02:14 AM.. |

Thanks! Not from BMW/"Individual" because of a lack of U.S.DOT - Approval/Crash Testing. But there are plenty of reputable accessory (Ind.-, ECS, Schmeidmann, Baum, etc.) retailers which will sell you, for example, the OEM ("ZCP") C.P. seatbelts. Good Luck! Cheers! |

No. But, It's going to easily be +$2,500 and I would suggest that it is Not worth it, because, at least on an M4, you will easily Scuff up the (Frt.) doors going in and/or out and it will hurt, when you do! If you're willing to live with the potential of that pain, It will look Hella Good!... At least, for the first few weeks! Cheers! Last edited by Dr. Who; 05-12-2017 at 04:36 PM.. |

Can I ask you to post a high quality photo of your Center Console from the passenger side, especially showing how the console and Part #1 look together?
Thanks! |

Hey,
Thank you! I've been meaning to get more photos out - Wheels/Ctr. Console, etc. but, it's just been Rain & Mud where I live as of late and I live on a country road, if you know what I mean? BTW ~ There is no C. Stitching on the right side of the CC, where the above indicated ("part #1") trim piece runs across it, so it's hard to distinguish. I will post more as soon as is possible! Cheers! |

Updated Firmware
Hey,
I just got the firmware updated: * F20-17-07-505/506 I'm not sure if I'm that "in tune" with my car yet but, at least, I do feel that the steering is a lot tighter/precise. As far as getting it done, it "should be" free but, it's not. Cite the alignment issue (see Service Bulletin - "SIB 32 01 17"). I got my first alignment because of this issue - http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...&postcount=279 with the initial Break In Service. The solution called for in this recent SB is a "firmware update." Cheers! P.S.: Any coding will be lost. Last edited by Dr. Who; 01-06-2018 at 07:30 AM.. |
