New Tanzanite Blue M4 'vert

WOW!!

great birthday gift to myself (2 days early)
car is amazing. CA said a few people asked about the color, including other CA's
went for a 4 mile test drive before signing papers and the car drives great, including DCT
hit 100 on the way home--suddenly all the cars left the left lane, like a "sign"
dropped wife off at home, put the top down and went for a little drive. 80+ degrees here--gorgeous day.
got a thumbs up from a guy in a Mustang.
best was going near my old dealer (who wouldn't let me test drive M4, so they lost sale) and getting behind some people test driving a 430 'vert. we got on the highway and I blew by them.
then a guy in an E46 M3 chased me down (I let him catch up so I could tell him that I just got the car); he said he was hoping to get an M4 one day.
car felt stable on highway on/off ramps; easily hit 40 on one where recommended speed is 25 mph
sounds great.
I know overall I didn't do a great job of capturing the color today; will do a better job soon, hopefully, as the color is GREAT

arriving at the dealer. I remember begging to get Azurite Black Individual color

I have the same experience at the dealer - been there a couple of times with my Tanz M4 & everybody in sales & service wants to see it!

Thanks! I was too for the 435. Was coming from Sparkling Graphite 335. Mystic Blue 330 before that. Kind of wanted black and went w Azurite over Carbon. Black Sapphire Metallic was out of the question. Glad I did it this way as the Tanz Blue for the M4 is awesome, not that the Az Black M4's don't look great. Glad I didn't have to pay $5K this time, like I did for the Az Black.

I might be one of the only people to have both colors. They're kind of opposite. Az Black looks blue in the right light, or even dimly lit at night. Tanz Blue can look almost black in low light.

Aside, I had the Az Black next to Carbon Black and I can't see any difference, although some say Az is more complex--not sure I can agree.

car is getting tint, Xpel and Cquartz this week, so it's gone--hard to believe.

I have gone 328 sport, 335 M-sport, 335is, 435 M-sport, and soon M4 cabrio. M4 was just released in 2014, so no ED pricing was available when I ordered my 2015 435 for September ED. It seems we're both on convertible #5.
