2018 Silverstone II M3 ZCP

Hey all,

Going to share photos of my SSII M3 here similar to my Interlagos Blue thread over on M3F (link: CLICK FOR E46 M3 ZCP )

I went to order an F80 in July but couldn't decide which color. Went to a couple dealers and checked out the colors in person, originally aiming for Sakhir Orange/Fire Orange/Black/YMBlue/White. Orange was too loud, Black hid the body shape too much for me, I already have a Blue M3, White felt too plain, so Sakhir Orange (more of a red to me) was going to be the color until I walked by a dirty Silverstone and noticed the hint of blue and the way it showed off the car's lines.

I've never been a fan of silver but how dynamic SSII is really left an impression. This was also going to be my daily driver so I decided something more subdued would be better.

The two colors I am considering for the future would be San Marino blue or Atlantis Blue. Due to the additional $$$ and time it would take I decided it wasn't worth it right now.

Always classy that combo. Not very aggressive but the classsiest business color choice. This was my second choice. You made a wise choice with already having Blau

Much prefer the gray/black trip6 wheels. Big fan of silverstone II. looks to be a true silver akin to porsche's arctic silver. enjoy!

Still torn. Love it in contrast to the Interlagos, how dynamic the color can be due to lighting conditions, but miss a stronger color other times due to not seeing them together that often. I think more aggressive setup would do it, but attempting to not mod too much yet.

Honestly the videos I heard before ordering MPE was more satisfying. Having heard the ZCP exhaust now and having the MPE for a few months I would not have added it over the ZCP. MPE still sounds killer in the upper RPM range so I enjoy it enough.

Is that different than GT Silver? Been looking at 991 GT3s, couldn't do white.. still on the hunt for what color I would be excited about.

Yep, believe so. I don't know if it's just me but the turn signals appear extremely bright when I am driving at night. Seeing the yellow on highway on/off ramps further in the distance. Pretty awesome IMO.
