build dates pushed back??

I just wanted to see if anyone else is seeing this..

my build date at time of order in March was for an April build date, once placed and the dealers allocation was modified the date was pushed back to week 19.

last week i recieved confirmation of 112 and then 3 days later the date was pushed back to a June date

Now i did change the color when it was 112 from alpine white to Mineral White but from what I have read/been told is that it wouldnt change the build date

Has anyone elses build date been pushed back?

If so any luck securing March's lease rates due to this?

My 2016 m6 order turned 150 then went back to 112 and have been stuck since. It's been about 2 weeks now and went from a week 16 to now week 20 build week...

My car is fully individual (frozen black, Opal white full leather) but I seem to be affected by this as well :/ I haven't made any changes to my order either so I'm getting a little impatient.

I was week 17 with a scheduled completion date of April 23rd and it exactly on time, just finished today. Took slightly less than 2 weeks from start to finish.

my personal car was scheduled for first part of march, then pushed to mid april, now its mid may! Mine is indiv as well. I feel your pain. Just have to sit back and wait. Is what it is .

Same here. I was originally set with a April build date but made a change to the interior color(went with an individual) and now my build date is pushed to sometime in May. Sucks but can't do anything about it.

Do you think this will happen to all individual color vehicles?

Mine was a early April and stayed that way and was completed last week...not individual though.

A 2016? Considering it's been noted that 2016 orders aren't being accepted yet, you shouldn't be surprised. No dealers have 2016 order guides yet as far as I know.

He was referring to his 2016 M6. They are MY2016.

I just put in an M3 order on Monday. Originally I was going to go with an individual interior color but he told me approx. 60 days for delivery but they were being told for individual plan on an additional 60 days.

I placed my order for an M3 on March 11 with an April allocation, week #17.....it's been pushed to week #21, and I'm hoping it doesn't get pushed out again...keeping my fingers crossed. There is nothing individual about my build, all standard paint/interior/options

Regarding your question on securing March rates if you take delivery after May 31, this was discussed in another thread. I had mentioned my dealer promised me I will still get the March rates even if I take delivery in June.
Someone mentioned the dealer can apply for a rate lock extension with BMWFS, and it is almost always granted.

also ordered march 11, individual color, was told week 17, then week 20....just started production 4/22 6am, eta 5/11 they say.....ed date june 2
From what i see.....or noticed, dealers and AG gives out 2 different "production weeks"
dealer said week 21, called AG they said 17....now we are in week 17, and it started production, and the car will be ready for pickup by week 21.....
can some of these "delays" be from dealer providing what seems to be the real production week instead of the factorys delivery date, mean the date it rolls out.
or maybe im just looking too deep into this and it really is just a delay.

I believe dealers have the ability the honor the rate after the lock period, wouldn't risk the deal for it. Also, most dealers will tell you get the car in 60 days but that is not true so i think lock period doesn't matter.

My order was scheduled to start production on third week of April. CA told me the status changed to 112 on 4/13, then the car went into production on 4/17 and was scheduled to finish production on 4/29.

I just experienced the opposite... My indiv M3 was originally scheduled for week 20 production, but as of today went status 150 w/ an estimated completion date of May 15th.

I believe it's just the individual M4s getting pushed? I changed my order to a 2016 M3 (and yes they are taking 2016 orders, so to speak. Most m3/4 individual orders entered now for 2015 are being converted to 2016 orders. At least that's what happened to me it seems)

no way of knowing. I believe there is no longer any more indiv request being accepted till 2016 models on 4 series. they must be pretty back up. I am not sure if the same goes for M3. Ill have to ask David next time we chat. the M3/M4 just seem to always have some sort of delay going on since its release. Its a bummer but is what it is.

I did recieve a production number right away, as im told the build will be early June, im hoping they will not push for a 2016 build then that'd be a 6+ month wait
