Cool video.
But can't compare the sound of a V8 to an inline 6 TT~two different animals.

I think I'd rather have the e30! But, they are both growing on me. Can't wait to see it in person.

For the sake of accuracy, it beats the current Power Kit equipped 991 Carrera S by 1kw (the standard makes 400PS (294Kw)).

M3/4 431PS = 317Kw

Power Kit makes 316 (and costs an extra 17-18k):

http://www.porsche.com/middle-east/p...911-carrera-s/

The 991 facelift due in a couple years would likely make the Carrera S come standard with the Power kit.

So BMW one-upped them in kilowatt speak already

You are correct, they do specify the power kit when they mention it in the video. I just wanted to be brief

Sedan YES! YMB looks good too. Put the larger wheels from the coupe on the YMB sedan and you've got a winner. At least we now have a clear glimpse at the 18's.

Wow they both look incredible.

I love the overall dimensions of the sedan...
....but the rear of the coupe looks SO much better/more aggressive.

Tough decisions.

Well, that may be true but if you delete the muffler with an S62, it sounds phenomenal

That isn't the way pricing works between regions.

Beats the Carrera S by one PS...
Unless I missed something I'm pretty sure the carrera s is @400hp so the m3/4 beats it by 31hp.

I think still wth DCT and PDK these cars will be evenly matched. The best I've ever seen a carrera s run in a 1/4 was 11.9 so I'm really hoping the m3/4 beats that and will officially break into the 11's.

To put it in perspective, I found info saying the E92 M3 was around 68,750 Euros base which would have been like $95,000.

We've always paid way less in the US than any other country does.
