Roll bar welded or bolted?

I am assuming the GTS roll bar is bolted in because the IND OEM GTS roll bar is bolted (with some plates that need to be welded in to the car). Having seen some YouTube videos on the GT2 RS, I herd that the Weissach package is offered with two different roll bar configurations. One is bolted the other is welded. They mentioned welded is for race spec compliance and bolted is mainly for improving chassis rigidity. I was just wondering if there is a big difference between the two and what would be the pros and cons. I'd probably rather have a bolted roll bar just in case it needs to be removed some day for some repairs or to tint the rear window...LOL.
