Slide the iDrive controller knob to the right. That should open the split screen. Turn the knob to highlight the second screen that you want displayed, and press down on the knob. Hopefully that works for you.

Discovery of the day for me...

I got out of the car with my spouse, and I immediately tapped the door handle to lock the car.

Problem is, my wife was still getting out of the car.

Anyways, when she closed her door, the car locked all four doors and engaged the alarm.

Guys i just learned today that my f80 came with wireless charging and i dont want it.
I can fit my wallet and maybe my iphone in there. While normally you can put alot more stuff in that little boot.

Is this removable?

When starting up at 6 AM this morning, I learned that the aftermarket exhaust that the PO installed on my M3 will set off the alarm on the neighbor's Prius.

A couple days ago, as I was trying out the car with the active sound disabled, I discovered that having the windows down at speed is a much more pleasant experience then with either of the first two generations of TT. It seemed to have much less buffeting at 60ish mph. Hadn't tried it previously because I expected the wind to be too much.

Sure sounds like a helpful symbol. If they'd just put some windows in these cars you could have looked out them and see it for yourself. No need for technology. Just like the Euro convex side mirrors. nice simple solution that some companies try and fix with all sorts of tech.

I think the idea is to let you know before you get there. Potentially useful to let you know you will be hitting heavy rain (and therefore slower traffic) in 20 miles down the road when it isn't raining where you are driving. Obviously not helpful when you are actually driving through it already.

We had a lot of rain during our 2016 Euro Delivery and I'm pretty sure that I saw this at last a couple of times. I think that it only works if you're currently navigating and there is rain on your route ahead.
