Exclamation Metal Rattle Sound - POLL.

Hey there folks,

I’m having a tin metal rattle sound (sort of like keys jingling) when letting off the acceleration from cruising or even hard acceleration. I am reading on the forum this is sort of normal but am seeing mixed responses.

The sound is worse in sport + (i am guessing as the sound is more unfiltered with the valves open), but it is still noticeable in efficient mode. Is this a known issue and dealer willing to fix?

To note, the car made this sound when I had midpipe/exhaust installed (i’m positive it is not valve rattling), and after downpipes the sound is even now more noticeable, I suspect due to the sound being less filtered throughout the exhaust system.

I have a 2015 M3. Please comment if you are having similar issues and/or if this is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about
