Coding in Brisbane
Hi there,
Just picked up a 2.5 yr old M4 and would like to get some coding done in the near future. I'd have a crack myself however my laptop is becoming pretty unreliable so I don't want to risk it. Any recommendations of where/who to take it to around Brisbane? I'm in the western suburbs. Cheers, Dean |

Thanks guys, bought a cable to use with my f30 328, I'm thinking it should be the same. The guy I bought it off sent programs with it on cd also (never got to do the 328 in the end, I knew an upgrade was on the cards!). I just don't trust my laptop atm, maybe I just load it up and see how it goes before I connect to car.
Aiming to mainly code, Auto stop default off Remove start warning 5-7 one touch indicator Full message displayed Cheers, |

So, had a look at the cd's and they have an old version of esys (3.23). Did some googling and found/downloaded/installed v3.28 and launcher premium.
Now waiting the 48hrs to be able to use it. Cheers, |

In the instructions it says it's got a delay of 48hrs before you can use the program after installing (launcher), something the creator did...

Hey mate so my car is sorted now and I've just bought Carly app and the dongle. After reading that software guide so much could go wrong. The Carly app seeemed the safe option. I should get it this week and will give it a try. More than happy for you to use it as well if you like.

I may take you up on that for a couple of the simple changes. I've got my car booked in for a service in the 6th May, I plan on doing changes after that.... If I have the patience with the auto stop start!! |

Ok so got my carly adapter and I must say its bloody easy to code. There is also a feature to open the exhaust flaps whenever I want too! I am still working on doing comfort settings but ran out of time tonight
