By the way I luv the sound on this teaser. And things will only get better.
That's going to be pretty damn hard to do when you design an efficient turbo system.

That's been their slogan for a really long time. I believe North America is the only market to use 'the ultimate driving machine'

Dont do it. They will LCI it 8 months later and then come out with a Comp pack and a a light weight pack I am sure.

The worst buying decision would be buy the first year production of this car.

Sheer Driving Pleasure is the International phrase for BMW.
"The Ultimate Driving Machine" is used by specifically by the USA and UK.

No I have only appeared in one video for the IAA in 2009. But at BMW press launches at autoshows , the first few rows are taken by BMW employees and I can be found there if I am in attendance.

Its a Teaser. teasers only show you a glimpse in a blink or you will miss it visual without giving everything away.
This does exactly that and it keeps you guessing and debating, so it does its job.

The concept should look awsome, hope they don't tone it down as much as they did with the 4 concept.
The real deal is boring next to it imo.
Standard M Concept Car , relatively accurate to production car.

Agreed, about 98% of people posting here, only interact with with the intention to trash everything they read and see. I truly feel this behavior is because they are secretly hoping for a BMW NA representative to contact them and offer them something, or ask them " I saw your post, now how would YOU make the M3/4 better" etc.

Ron Jeremy:

The concept 4 is the exact production model 4 series minus the front/rear bumpers, mirrors, door handles, wheels and lighting internals.

All metal parts made it to production.

Why be on a board in which 98% of people are terrible? I've found the vast majority of people on here to have a good sense of humor, be knowledgeable about cars and overall very friendly. I also don't think it is unreasonable to differ on some of the decisions that BMW makes on their cars.

This.

The color you're seeing here is a metallic yellow - one that more closely resembles Dakar Yellow than Phoenix Yellow (which is more of a mustard in hue).

I'm encouraged by the possibility that BMW M will be releasing the M3/M4 with a colorful array of choices this time through, rather than a bunch of blacks and silvers. M cars should be offered in each color of the rainbow as far as I'm concerned.

Absolutely, one of the reasons I went for individual is because I disliked almost every catalog color, and I assume you did as well.
