Exhaust Availability

Im picking up a YMB F80 on the 21st! And I would love to order my exhaust now!

Anyone know of any brands that have it already?

Thanks!

No one has them or will have them for at least 3 months and it will be more likely be 6 months. Your best bet will be getting a hold of a downpipe first. There is a few companies already working on one but we are a good month out for best case scenario.

I believe akrapovic exhaust is available. I ordered GT Haus. I believe about 3 week wait. I would wait a few months on suspension

We have many pre orders for the M4 exhaust. No one has it in just yet. Meisterschaft is on a late July delivery as of now and Akrapovic is pretty close as well. Anyone can PM me for more in depth info.

Why not be the first to try an OEM Exhaust Mod (non-perforated). Costs about $300-400. It was the best money I ever spent on a car (for my 2013 M3) and I love the way it sounds every time I drive it. Also ridiculously cheap compared to most catback options...

If you can't bear to wait the 3-6 months then you can get this done in a couple of hours!

What is this OEM mod though? I don't mind trying things out!

On the E9x you had to replace the perforated section of the pipes with non-perforated pipes or just install a straight pipe (there were 2 version of the "OEM Exhaust Mod"). It looks like the new M3/M4 essentially comes with this setup when in Sport+ mode (ie. the valve opens and bypasses the perforated section).

Here's a thread I started that discusses this, including a diagram so you can see the perforated section: http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1004822

If you can somehow leave the valves open all of the time on the new M3/M4 then it will be the equivalent of an "OEM Exhaust Mod".
