I did not do it but I have received quotes ranging from 4000 euro to 8000 euro. The price difference can be explained because some installers use precut foils, others don't and the more expensive ones use a combination where some of the foil edges are hidden behind panels, meaning that it is more work expensive if you do not want to see the foil edges. Yes you can find "cheap" installers but I have seen on this forum cars with foils that were not correctly installed and that you get dirt under the edges. I have even seen cars full of scratches because the foil was cut on the car, ... You need to find an installer and look at their previous installs before you choose one. |

Mine is protected with SunTek, the glossy is amaizing, and the appearance of orange peel painting disappeared.
Edit: I payed 3000 euros for the full protecting without the carbon roof. |

If you're going to do clear bra, I would recommend to coat it with something after.
That way you get both protections, chemical and dumb rocks.

I think I paid roughly $2800 all in but that included tint plus opticoat. If I had to hazard a guess expel was $2000 of that. I basically got everything you could want short of a full wrap, full bumper, hood, front fenders, a pillars, mirrors, rock panels, door cups, roof, rear impact areas and luggage shelf. If you're considering giving him a call just tell him Rob with the SO f80 sent you his way.

I'm having Suntek full hood and fenders put on today. I'm applying opti-coat pro on the rest of the car. Will the opti-coat adhere to the suntek?

Can you tell the difference in gloss or shine between the areas covered by XPEL and the areas uncovered? Plus what kind of wax or sealant do you use?

I have a 2016 M3 Black Sapphire, and I have covered the entire car in XPel Ultimate, and with the exception of the roof and trunk.
I used it on my last car as well, and after 3 years, it looked brand new. I'll never own a car again that doesn't have a heaping helping of XPel Ultimate. My installer was out of Tacoma.... Metal Magic. |

xpel was the only certified dealer here, everyone else was doing it out of a garage.
Can't even tell it has PPF and now no more chips

Suntek now has another paint film called Suntek Ultra.
It is very recent released, 10 year warranty with this one. Layer is coated, for ease of cleaning and hydrophobic. I have it on our family's Macan S. If you don't want to coat your PPF, I would suggest asking for Suntek Ultra.

I have the Xpel on front bumper and half hood and noticed that it started to yellow a bit, it's a white car. Only had it for 15 months, is that an issue or normal fading process ?
