Sent another email to my CA to confirm it's this wheel posted and not the old one. Checked the part numbers against the old one and they are not the same so that's a plus. Once I get the final word I'll let you all know.

I'll wait till someone actually orders this and can physically confirms they got this exact steering pictured here. Too much confusion in this thread.

I'm working with my CA right now. Just waiting on the confirmation from my CA that it is the same steering wheel. Once he says yes I'll have him send me a picture of what is in their system and I'll post that up. This will look sweet with the CP and the other small carbon fiber goodies for the interior I think.

** UPDATED 5/27/2016 **

Here is a recap and update as of right now.

32302413014 is the part number for the steering wheel.

There is no price yet (blocked by BMW) and there are none in stock here or in Germany. The ETA for the first batch (120 units) is June 2nd and the second batch (170 units) is June 13th.

BMWUSA did have it on their website for $670 but then took it down.

32302345203 is the part number for the carbon gloss trim.

That part is available for $391.00. Out of stock in the US but 26 available units in Germany. No ETA info on anymore units at the moment.

I hope this clears up any confusion anyone might have.

Thanks. Probably a dumb question but is the steering compatible with the stock trim? If the CF trim is out of stock, might as well get the steering at least and run it with the stock trim.

As of right now if the wheel and trim are separately sold than yes. If BMW decides to bundle them then no. We have to wait until BMW officials releases them.

Are you missing a digit here/ Shouldn't there be 12 digits?
Nope. 11.

How can it if the new wheel will have a square bottom? Wouldn't that make it a shorter piece? Only way I see it fitting is if the overall wheel circumference increased, which I doubt is the case.

Once you get it, the question I'm really concerned about is it a true flat bottom? That is, is the radius at the bottom, measured from the middle, less than the radius at the top, again measured from the middle?

Or is it just extra material added to the bottom to make it flat, but not really a reduced radius?

It's a true flat bottom built around the bottom trim it looks like.
