Whew, ok cool. I thought you were going to tell me you knew the CA plates and didn't want them posted online. Yeah, I identified the manufacturer in the title spot for those that like what they see. Though a bit "spendy" as my dad use to say, it does look nice to me. Hope others weigh in.

We've been working with PedalHaus on this project to cover a couple of key parts:

- 2 product SKUs cover the entire BMW lineup (makes it easier to sell or transfer to new vehicle)
- Simple to remove, easy to install
- Keyhole shaped which allow the plate to tilt to the body contours to adjust clearance
- GoPro camera mounting adapter (coming soon)

About a week or so from releasing for M3/M4.

Great! Looks awfully close to the PDC. Does the bracket interfere at all?

aesthetically to me the plate mounted on the side like that with a metal bar looks way worse than just putting it in the middle where its designed to go.

and then my real concern about these things is how does that work with pedestrian impact standards when someone gets hit by it? In europe cant drive on public road with the towbar installed. even if its legal in usa just looks less safe to me.

Just ordered that one (US Mill Works). I think that position is best, as well, and it is claimed to work with PDC. Also like that it's a Northwest company (Washington).

Yeah, I'm liking the millworks one on this car - I love EAS, but their's looks too high, it blocks the grill

Mount will be adjustable, which allows for upward/downward movement:

Hi Tom,
What's the distance from the bumper to the back of the license plate after installed, as results from the concave design of the backplate? Looking at the video I can't seem to get the depth perception thing. Thank you.

Nothing yet to share as final bits are still being finalized. Very soon.

This

If you're worried about tickets just install it properly. This only draws more attention to something that looks off-balanced. Like a sore thumb in my opinion.

After seeing this picture, I decided that the center position is just fine and looks better than the off-center position. I decided that since I have to have a plate, I'll put it where it belongs.

I think I'm with @karussell on this one, the plate looks better in the middle for the F8x, some other cars it looks better on the side though, like the C63:

Agreed re: center placement of the front plate. Did you go with the standard BMW mount?

GregW, have you received yours from US Mill Works yet? Would love to see some pictures of it on your car. Thanks.

Tow Hook for License Plate

Hey,
Just got my new m4 and was excited to see they did not drill a front license plate on. So I want to purchase a toe hook license plate, but wanted some advise on whether to buy from Bimmian.com or Pedal Haus? Thanks.
