I've got about 650 miles on my RE-11 265/285 and one solid track day at Laguna Seca. My experience has been just as others here have mentioned. There is a very slight increase in perceptible road vibration compared to the PSS but the tire definitely seemed to handle a day at the track much better and has better dry grip than the stock 255/275 set up.

The 275 will tramline line crazy and it ends up being really annoying.

The MPSS is the standard in the tire industry in ride quality/ performance. With the price so similar why not do the MPSS.
The 275 would go on a 9.5 inch front wheel instead of the 9 inch oem wheel. Would this be an issue?

did you have any issues with the stock front 255 and dsc with 295 rears?

i am planning on keeping the front 255 for now and switching to 295 mpss for the rears.

edit: rereading the thread on page 26, there is already a mention it will work, but possibly less dsc intervention, but i wonder if the car will under steer more with the increased stagger?

I hate to revive this thread but after reading every page, I notice that not one person posted about a 295 35 and 275 35 setup on the OEM 18’’ 513M wheels. I do realize that the a 35 sidewall is a size drop from the stock 40 but since the overall diameters are the same, I would like to go with this route. Any pics of this setup without spacers but on aftermarket springs, would be GREATLY appreciated.

Nice fit.

I think give rear wheel 1 size up will look better (19x9.5F - 20x10.5R).

Hey guys, I’m currently on 18x9.5 +22 with 275/40/18 Hankook RS4. The fronts rub the fender liner when I’m doing a full lock turn.

I am now thinking of going to a 275/35/18 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tire for the front. Would I still encounter the fender liner rub?

Is anyone running this set up in the front? 18x9.5 +22 with 275/35/18 Michelin Pilot Super Sport

Are you on stock suspension? If not, what are you on and how low?

265-285/35R19 keeps the front to rear diameter stagger almost identical to stock, so negligible (just not to say none) impact on DSC calibration IMO.

However, if you plan on going with PSS, I would strongly recommend going with the 295/35R19 instead of the 285/35R19. The 285 does not provide a meaningful increase in contact patch width (see the table at end of the OP in this tread)
Question, I'd just ordered 265/35/19 F and 295/35/19 R MP4S for my M4 using stock rims. Is there any DTC issues or other issues with this set up?
