Grippy 20" street able tires

I have the mpss tires and they work well but it sounds like The RE71's are a better option for a more grippy summer tire, but they are not offered in 20" sizing, suggestions?

I assume you have the comp package and trying to find rubber instead of mpss. Not sure if it's possible yet. You may need to investigate narrower or different profiles. I know AD08's in narrower sizes are just as wide or wider as wider sizes

Yes, competition pack, I thought there would be a lot more choice at this size but, not really

Welcome to my life, we are basically SOL. Gotta wait for the new Michelin Pilot
Sport 4S , which should be marginally better in grip, but nothing crazy I suspect. You could also fit a MPSS 295 rear (m5/m6 rear tire) , if you wan't to go another route.

Same boat. Waiting for the Pilot Sport 4S which I should get next week. The only way to get RE71R is to do 19s up front and 20s in the rear like the GTS and some members have done.

RE71 are made in 20s, but only in 245/35/20 and 295/30/20 (closest to same diameter, and pretty much only option) Not exactly ideal for 9/10'' widths, but would probably offer better grip still.

I may run RE-71 295/30/20 rear when my MPSS wear out and still run MPSS 265/30/20 front.

SC6 are known to have better grip than MPSS and available in 20".

As Michelin knows SC6 beat MPSS on all the Indeoendent wet and dry grip tests published last year, yet did not release data fromtheir tests to show the SC6 v PS4S data, it is assumed that the SC6 still has better grip.

HOWEVER, I doubt the SC6 has the grip of the RE-71.

Also not made in the right sizes so kinda a moot point.

Awesome man, please write a mini review when you get the chance. Did you go with 265-285/30 or different sizing

Then the decision is made for you.

One wonders how that will work for 666m owners without a Star Version.

Ide be willing to put $50 that standard 265/30 and 285/30 MPS4S will out perform the star spec MPSS. So im guessing itll work out well.

There definitely wont be fitment issues.
