How long at status 102?

For those of you who have ordered individual, how long did you get stuck at status 102?

My order was in almost a month ago and I'm still at 102, Special Order Received, with only a guesstimated production week.

How long does it typically take to go from 102 to 111?

Took mine 6 weeks. Don’t know the status at the moment as we don’t have those fancy tracking options in Europe strangely enough.

Should contact my dealer again for an update actually.

I think it's all across the board on times it takes BMW to approve a color. My 1st production # went into production too early before my color was approved. The second production # was in 102 for about 3 and a half weeks.

Yeah, its pretty funny how ridiculous it is.

I had the same issue. My first production number flipped before approval.

But its almost like double approval. The color is approved when you submit it and hit 102, because you can't order without approval, but then you need to wait for basically a second approval it seems when you're at 102.

Mine stayed in 102 for about to a month. I am more surprised by the week 18 production date. Try to see if you can still get the December incentives/rates.

I'm not going to accept delivery if they try to make it cost any more. I signed and agreed to December pricing.

Idk why production is so far out but it's just an estimate until they actually assign it a week and get it out of status 102.

I placed my Individual order on November 14, received my production number on November 17, and went into production on December 21, and will complete production today. My color was approved pretty quickly, within a week or so after placing my order. Not sure why mine has gone so fast....maybe because there seems to be quite a few people with Atlantis Metallic on order right now that may have pulled mine into production faster than normal .

Truthfully, I was expecting it to take much longer, similar to your production timeline.

I spoke with someone in the know at BMW who told me my actual production should be in February and that I can keep the December rates without an issue.
