The way I saw it: I don't think i'll be able to afford many upgrades right away on the M. If I get the 'upgrades' in the original price, they get divided up among the payments...

I took the time to explain to myself why it is stupid for me to add the comp package, and then I ticked the box..

Well, she's officially gone to her new home. Down payment for my M3 is in pocket. I'm sad though, I really loved that car. Got a long time to go before I get my M3.

Oh no, not at all. My other car officially departed that I had sold for the down payment. I was holding on to it for the guy who had purchased it. It was picked up yesterday.

I'm still getting my M3. In fact, I added the Competition Package to it.

I did that with the DHP on my 435--only $1000--wasn't sure, but checked the box.

for some reason I thought ZCP was only for those who track car a lot. Had a month to research here, but didn't pay attention and time ran out after I changed my mind. Made a last ditch effort to get out of car, but it didn't work. Unfortunate thing was car I test drove had ZCP (but 437M wheels, so not obvious-I didn't know about the black side grill and M4 emblem); when I told the CA this, he said it didn't, but after he checked the sticker again, he said I was right. I had taken a picture and saw the black side grill. Anyway, I'm gonna drive it before I sign and if I'm unhappy, I may walk, despite a hefty deposit. I've actually lost sleep over this. Hope for my purposes it doesn't matter, cuz I'd really like to get the car--production ends in a couple of days.
