It's louder at low speeds than the E46 and E9x. My biggest gripe with the E46 and E9x is how you have to really get on the throttle to get a good exhaust sound. I like the low rpm growl this vehicle gives off.

+1. There must be a new design chief in town. The design direction is not classically BMW or "german" for that matter. Even Bangle designs were cleaner than this.

That said, it is still the most desirable 4 door sport sedan out there. We'll see if this changes when the Porsche equivalent comes on the market.

bMWNA is right next door to my office. Saw this car on the highway the other day but thought I was dreaming. All the pre production cars do not have badging. Cool to see some of them on occasion.

I'm very impressed with the look and stance of the sedan. I wish some of these preproduction models were in white or even black. Though I understand if it's going to be seen, pick the color that stands out.

They need that juvenile color to separate it from the rest of pack.

I was not thrilled about Yas Marina until now where I see it every day in person. It went from a color low on my radar to the top of my list. It does not grow old like traditional colors have in the past for me, I actually like it more everyday and every time I see the car. I have always been a white, silver, grey paint fanatic, but this changes everything.
