Picked up my rear diffuser, painted in Laguna Seca Blue from that same Ebay seller. Good item, great fit and fast turn-around.

Anyone try the gloss black diffuser and spoiler combination? Wonder how that looks.
I wouldn't mind a gloss black diffuser but worried that the spoiler may not look good then the option would be leaving it stock YMB or then get both items in carbon fibre. Pictures? |

Is your diffuser flappy at all? I actually ordered the one you linked and it seems pretty flimsy since it doesn't use the 2 middle bolts to mount it. I can't really see if it's stable or not since I'm driving it...

I was actually wondering the same thing. I installed mine last week and had the same thought process as I was putting it on "huh I wonder if it will flap around at highway speeds". One idea I had was to perhaps poke two small holes in the diffuser and zip tie it to the oem mount points. Not sure if its necessary though.

The stock diffuser doesn't use those 2 middle bolts either but has 2 tabs. I slotted the aftermarket tabs into the slots under the car and the fit is as tight as a drum. I'll try to see if I can take some pics of under there.

I think what paffinity was saying is that his diffuser does not have the extended plastic pieces which would fit into the oem tab locations, thus there is nothing holding the middle section of the diffuser to the vehicle. Mine is the same.

Ok guys. Correction. I looked under car and remembered what how it went. I undid the four bolts under rear not realizing that the 2 middle bolts didn't need to be pulled as they did not hold the OEM diffuser. The gloss black plastic eBay diffuser came with four holes (including holes for the middle tabs. see pic even though hard to see middle tabs have holes). I installed the diffuser and realized that the eBay diffuser holes lined up perfectly. So I slid the eBay diffuser holed tabs above the zinc looking piece and re-installed the 2 middle bolts. When I looked at it today it seems the cheap eBay diffuser is actually better than OEM based on this.
BTW. I didn't bend or adjust the middle tabs, drilled any holes or anything. All I used for the entire install was a 10 socket I think it was. I think its clearly meant to be installed as it was. It fits perfectly and tight and solid like a drum. Hope this helps. Cheers |

I guess I could use some 3M double sided tape to keep it from moving: http://www.homedepot.com/p/3M-Scotch...C-SF/100575385
