Think I am going for a "Stripper"

Going ED with minimal options.
M3 Sedan: 57,710
SO Paint: 550
DCT: 2,900
USB/BT 500
D&H 925

Total 62,585

I would like the HUD and Camera, but not @ 4,300. If ED is not coming out of dealer allocation, I might switch to AW with SO and the Exec Package.

I don't think so. I think you need the enhanced to stream music wirelessly
What's everyone's feeling on the enhanced Bluetooth? To me, pulling music via cellular AND pumping that to the car via BT would kill any phone's battery. No? I guess if you had music stored locally on your phone it's less of an issue, but with Pandora, Apple Radio, etc I see a potential downfall here.

It certainly would. But just depends on your phone really. I don't experience any significant loss while BT streaming.

For me personally, I'm skipping the option. I'll just plug in one of the many iPods I have lying around. I've got plenty of MP3s that I don't have to have Spotify/Pandora, etc. streaming on the phone and into the car. I would imagine the battery will drain more when it's streaming via bluetooh but that's what car chargers are for...

RealStig you need to make a rap song about residuals lol. Also, my dealer just called and said he has the pricing list. Asked me to come in and spec it out. He said order banks will be open in a week.

wait, power rear sunshade option is VERY confusing

M3 = $575
M4 = $350
this makes sense if the M3 includes side shades which it looks like the order guide is trying to show.

But this is what confuses things:
it says if you have full Merino leather +$350 and only on the M3?

so is it saying that if you have full merino leather (which for some reason already costs $100 more than the M4) that it will then cost $925 to get rear and side shades? I would understand if the side shades were powered but it doesn't mention that. How in the world can adding side shades cost them $575 ($925-$350, since the rear power shade is obviously $350) when in combination with Merino leather? are the side shades leather?

Is that 100% accurate? Would assume lease rates and residuals would be available when orderes can go in. Am I expected to order a car without knowing my payments?

If you get the Full Merino leather, it adds the rear manual side window shades so the power rear sunshade would only be $350. If you don't get Full Merino leather, it would be $575 and you get the power rear sunshade and manual side window shades

I believe it means that with Full Leather, all shades including the side manual and rear power are $350 total. Basically meaning they only make the full leather with the side shades, I think.

I am guessing that the diplomatic price is the one that will be given for the military orders, so I am looking at either $75,840

Base: $60,990
Destination & handling - $925
AW - $0
Full merino SO - $2,550 (w. Exec pack)
Dr. assist - $1,900
Exec. pack - $4,000
Light pack - $1,900
Suspension - $1,000
19" - $1,200
HK - $875
USB + Bluetooth - $500

Or $71,390 if I take off the LED and full leather options.

I just had that thought. I kept hoping they would be less as my wife pretty much said "that much for what again?".

What are people's thoughts on the ceramic brakes as an option? Doesnt seem like many of the quick configurations in the thread so far are adding them. Would it just make more sense to go with aftermarket non-carbon brembos later on? (they should be around $5-$6K for front and rear right?)

I just stopped by my dealer and this is what I am getting:
F80 M3,
$57,710 ED pick up at the welt
Destination $925.00
Metallic paint $550.00
M double clutch $2900.00
Black wheels 437M $1200.00
Adaptive M susp $1000.00

Total before tax and other fees $64,285.00

I'm skipping all of the packages as I can't pay $4300.00 for just two option that I would like.
Now to wait till the allocations get release

All cars have CCBs in that range... Thats not unreasonable as you can't even get an aftermarket brembo/ stop tech kit new for less.

Interesting info and that's a touch better, but still, I'd be willing to pay $500 to have my doors unlock automatically but not $4,300 (I keep hoping if I repeat the absurd number it will magically change!)
