I like the look of SSII wit the lighter wheels but just out of curiosity, who will option out carbon ceramic brakes (big performance for a big price tag) and then check the box for a sunroof?

Agreed... however, the $75 cost for the painted reflectors is a small price to pay in comparison to the ludicrous price for foreign cars in nearly every other country.

It does. BMW just hasn't shown one publicly yet.

Very nice color! On first sight this might not be as attractive as the Orange or Blue, though it will age better and is much less a hassle to keep clean

I don't understand why they aren't showing them with shadowline when that's a standard feature. |

There are 4 ///M exclusive colours offered on the F8X thus far:
Sakhir Orange Yas Marina Blue Austin Yellow Silverstone If I buy an ///M, I prefer having an ///M exclusive colour (that is just me). Silverstone is hands down my favorite of these four . |

I think it looks good and it's still on my list of potential colors. I think the two tone black wheels will make it more striking since it's missing impact and seems pale with the silver wheels. I thought the same about YMB with silver wheels I saw in the flesh, the car looked washed out especially next to the AY M3 with black wheels. I would definitely need to see it with black wheels if I was to change to SSII.
In my experience SSII is much more like Tony's 2nd pictures than the spotlight pictures of the F80. It's like a blue hue TiA with little depth and more matte than the F80 pix here where it looks like it has a lot of depth with a thicker clear coat. This affects my decisions somewhat.. so i had it narrowed down to SSII and YMB..
2 things about SSII 1. not feeling the blue hue 2. looks a little pale; doesn't really jump out Not saying SSII is a bad color, b/c it isn't by any means.. but it isn't what I'm looking for that leaves me to YMB.. but lately i have been reconsidering MW - which was my very first choice coming into this scene haha |
