Correct fuse location for dashcam connection in series 2
Hi.
I have a 2017 218d and am wanting to connect my dashcam hardwire kit correctly for '24-hr parking monitoring' mode use - ie with just a 2-wire ground and yellow (battery) connection therefore according to the kit manual. For ease of installation of the required additional piggy-back connector in the fusebox behind the front passenger glovebox, I'd like to select fuse position number 61. However, although everything seems functional wrt the correct operation of the front display/instrument cluster/radio, I'm only getting 12v from the left-hand side of the fuse location - which should be the same on the RHS (shouldn't it?) as an "always on" connection? Clarification gratefully appreciated. Steve |
