Radiator fan kicking on on engine off

Hey guys, not sure if this is normal or not, but ever since I got the car, when I turn it off, the radiator fan kicks on and runs for a few minutes. I haven't been driving anything like hard, and even this evening coming back from my son's Pinewood Derby check in up at his school it came on and it's 50 degrees outside and was only a short drive there.
My old E39 540i did this all the time, but it also had a V8 crammed in small space and cooling was a known issue. To be clear, the temp gauge is well below midpoint and it's not running hot so really just curious if this is "normal" for the F80, never happened once in the 340i so a little surprised to hear it coming on even from a short drive like we did tonight.

Thoughts?

Totally normal - nothing to worry about.

Right on, figured it was since nothing else was amiss, but figured I'd get some real-world advice rather than worrying about it.

Thanks!

Totally normal. Those turbos get super hot despite ambient, oil, and engine temps.
