I need to not look at this footage again. My thoughts while playing the first clip? To hell with exhaust farts, synthetic sound, low rpm, turbolag and plastic interior I'm getting one!!! Lol to the sound at 3:13 sounds like a jet.

I'll say it again, very composed and visibly fast - m-pressive! Although not crazy about the exhaust sound in these, echo the "jet" comment from solstice.

WOW! I think BMW is going to post some crazy low Ring time to shut up all the doubters.

"FI, no V8, low redline, where is the 100lbs of tq we were promised, only how many more hp...etc."

The engine may not be as exciting as the V8 or even the I6's of the past, but it will get the job done and combined with how much is probably going into chassis tuning this car will be fast! Dare I say even have the GTR in it's sights? Having said that, I'm still in love with the E9xM3....

I have no idea what they are saying during the Damper testing but the Canadian looks fairly composed whilst driving that M4 at what looks to be quite a fast speed based on their body movement. Impressive to say the least!

I really like the perspective of the 3rd video.
Seeing both the M3/M4 driving from the front, they look like two sharks in the water

If my eyes are not deceiving me... these cars are hands down the best performing cars BMW has every built to date. Look how flat they corner, how quick the turn-in is, how composed it is after hard dips...friggin amazing...this is one for the books fellas.

Nice marketing talk!

You can see on all the footage how big the car really is. It more an M5 taking on the nurburgring and not an E36 or E46 M3.

You can see in the slides how much time you have to correct it. That means it s wheelbase is pretty large.

As a fun car you really need a less long wheelbase to get more agility and then need faster responses to catch a car out of a slide. For me it brings more exitement to drive a car like the 1M.

I really like the auto blip on downshifts and all the weight savings now bring it on in a smaller 2 series M car.

Agreed on the fun factor but I'd probably be a helluva lot more confident getting the tail loose on the new m3 than my 1M. Not all of us have the same car control you have!

Unfortunately, I have a feeling that the M2 will not feature an I-6 but a turbo I-4. No reason it won't be superb, but definitely won't sound like this!

I know this is about the new new M3/M4 but in that first video, after my ears acclimated to the exhaust, I was suddenly beside myself when I heard that e92! I must say the sound of the six makes me even more satisfied with a less aggressive exhaust on the e92! It really stood out. For that exhilaration alone I won't be excited as I should. With that said, Kudos to the new gens!
