Hi Gearhead999s,
My spouse and I were also fortunate enough to be picked for this road trip event. I am new to the BMW bandwagon so will have a lot to learn from you guys.

From what I heard, there will be a track day (with BMW supplied cars, not our own), but I don't think it will be at the Ring. Perhaps it's a level 1/2 BMW driver training course (which you probably don't need)?

excited about the pickup of the YMB M3 Manual.

I think that is the M training. Gears correct me if I'm wrong.

I think that is a 1/2 day of training which will be just enough to hopefully keep to keep the less experienced on the road

The only true track time will be for the people that go to the Ring or Spa on the Monday or Tuesday after the organized trip ends.

I probably won't track my car anyway since it's a brand new car.
Any advice on what to do with stone chips if I may ask? I hate stone chips.

Both of my E92 M3's were on track before they had 2000 kms and that never caused a problem. They both never used any oil between their 12000 km oil changes.

The best way that I have found to avoid stone chips is to not drive the car

Please Photograph and Document Everything! :)

I know I probably don't need to say this but....

Please photo document everything!

Also please document the route, the hotels, everything!!!!

Even if we are not on this program, I'm sure that if I ever go on ED, I'll want to do something similar so more information the better please!

They want to squeeze every dollar they can get! But the good thing for them is that lots of people will pay for this, especially since its only limited.

Too bad no Nurburgring trip.

@Gearhead999s is trying to arrange it for the trip.

So do you mean the first 15 would be a limited edition?

I don't think the 15 ED cars are "limited", just highly optioned.

They called me for money last week but wasn't able to give them it since I just got back from Vietnam.

So they was to call back the next day to get it from me and never did, so I emailed Matt that is organizing it and he told me that they was going through some delays and will contact me this week.

I was wondering if anyone had any more information regarding this experience? My dealer never mentioned anything about this, I only found out about it last week (through the forums) yet I have had my M4 pre-order in Newmarket since August. (It was an agreement that once the car could be ordered in January they would place my pre-order as I am in school right now and wouldn't have been able to make the commute in reasonable time) so I am assuming that I should have been eligible for the first 15. Also the options that I choose met all the requirements. Now my dealer isn't getting back to me when I inquired about it...

Unfortunately for you, I think the 15 spots are all taken.

The Track day that is offered as part of this program happens on the first full day (the 24th) at BMW's training facility outside of Munich

After huge disappointment on missing the 15 Euro experience delivery(my salesman was on holidays at the time). Yesterday BMW called the owner of Park Shore BMW in Vancouver Canada and advised that one of the participants had dropped out and I was chosen next in line to fill the spot! So a quick build of a Sakhir M4 today and my wife and I are off to Munich June 20th! Overwhelmed right now.
