Bolts for Fire Extinguisher

So orders the OEM fire Extinguisher and it didn't come with the 4 bolts to attach it to the seat delete.

Real OEM didn't seem to have the part number which I found odd.

I ordered the bolts that attach the seat delete to the rear part number 07149168393.

I am hoping these work.

Anyone else done this yet?

I am wondering if you can help me? I ordered everything but I cannot figure out how to install. It only came with 4 screws??? I figure the 4 screws secure the
" base " plate, but what about the other brackets???

No, not that one. I do want to go check that place out though...
It will soon be warm enough to use it on an almost daily basis. I had a blast on the highway yesterday...

The 4 bolts do indeed anchor the base, you need three additional bolts (not the same as the other four) to mount the extinguisher carrier to the base, the higher side of the carrier is designed to face forward. The plastic straps have a molded pin that corresponds to an opening in the carrier to locate and capture the straps. Only thing I'm not clear on is where the German extinguisher decal goes, I know it's a window sticker, but just wondering how it's done in Deutschland. Hope this helps, Fran

Any thoughts on where I can get the three needed bolts? P/N ? The extinguisher came from Munich but with no instructions and missing the needed three bolts.

Never seen them fitted to any BMW model in Germany or anywhere else.

I am confused.

You said above you have the 4 Screw pack. These mount the lower bracket to the car.

Then you said you did not receive the 3 screws that mount the upper bracket to the lower bracket.

Those are no 9 in the diagram as I posted.

Now you want the 4 screws again ?

I believe the base to car 4 screws come in the extinguisher pack. They are not in the diagram I listed

No 6 screws are 8 screws to fasten down part no 2 in the diagram.

There are no screws in the box of the fire extinguisher. It only comes with the plastic bracket and the 2 plastic straps.

The parts diagram is not always clear on ETK and there can be mistakes. #6 on the diagram is used to secure the angle bar and floor boards to the car and only 4 is needed for that. The other 4 is used for mounting the base of the base plate of the fire extinguisher to the car. This is why a total of "8 qty" is listed as required.
