Prior to seeing this thread about the 5-blink option, I used another cheat sheet and successful changed the 3-blink option to blink 5 times (I have had that coded for the past several weeks).

This weekend when trying to do the 5-Blink iDrive menu option, I could not find the 5_FACH_TIPPBLINKEN parameter to try it out to see if I could get it to work. I need to go back in again since I must have missed something since that parameter should be there based on what you and the OP have already done.

Let me know full CAFD name (eg, CAFD_00001EF6_###_###_###) and I will take a look.

I found function for toggling folding mirrors via idrive as well, but did not test it.
I was going to mention this; however, I did find that checking/unchecking that box seemed to cause no changes afterward.

As Almaretto pointed out, this might be related to production date.

In any event, it doesn't seem to work in the sense of actually adding the option to select 5 blinks to the existing options of 1 or 3.

Can you actually even check the box? When I click it, it does not actually check the box.

BDC_Body or Fem_Body plus HU-H2 changes. Then, was able to toggle preference from IDrive.

Are you saying you've personally been able to get this to work differently from what I describe on an F83? If so, I'd really love to figure out what you're doing that I'm not!
No, I tried on F15, F80, and G12.

Ok, so I went back in again to take a look and no joy. 5_FACH_TIPPBLINKEN is not in HU_NBT2; 3000 HMI, 96 on my car.

Here is the info you requested:

I don't know what to say, but it is not there. I have successfully coded other parameters on this car (and two other cars), in HU_NBT2 and a few other ECUs. But that parameter is not in any of the sub parameters in HU_NBT2 on my car - 3000 HMI or any others . Assuming I am still doing something wrong, where else can I look?

It is clearly present. Which Launcher are you using?

E-Sys 3.27.1 (Build 44813) with E-Sys Launcher Premium.

So just to be clear again....

This parameter should be located in HU_NBT2, under 3000 HMI, 96? What other possible reason could there be that this specific parameter is not there?

E-sys Version will not make a difference. Launcher version (eg, 2.6.2) will. Check with NCD / CAFD Tool and you will find as well.

Sections are meaningless; but, yes, under 3000. All I did was type as you can see and hit search. That was first result. Check storage info:

I can't find it either. I have the 2.5.3 108 version of the Launcher, and trying to code a 2016 F80. Is my launcher version too old. (Same exact Esys version as as jmciver's.)

Launcher 2.6.x:
- PsdZdata mapping compatibility upgraded to V3.59.4

Launcher 2.5.x
- PSdZData mapping compatibility is now at V56.5. Some CAFDs are at V57.0

Ok, I guess I will try to get the latest launcher as I would not have thought the launcher would affect what I can see inside the ECUs inside my car or any car for that matter. I first installed E-Sys back in July. Launcher version I installed then is Launcher Premium v2.4.3.85 w/Token Generator

For what it is worth, I did recently upgrade my PSdZData files to from v59.0 to v60.2 right before I took delivery of my M3 in December. I figured I needed the latest ones to support coding my M3 based on the Nov 2016 build date of my car.

I tried coding Werte=02 since that's rumored to be the equivalent, but that didn't succeed since only 00 and 01 would save.

What are you setting this to?
