Lower front side grille (air inlet) gap

Hi
Maybe this is the way it is but never noticed before. After some minor paint fix, i really notice the white line of the gap.

Happen both sides. Tried to adjust them but hardly move.

Bumper repaint not the grill.

They would have to pull out the vent to paint the bumper. It probably didn't snap into place correctly.
