Cepheus Leader headed to Port Heueneme

I was previously told my 2016 M4 convertible was produced 7/1. I'm now told it was "finally" produced 7/23 and made it on NYK's Cepheus Leader on 7/30. It has a 29 day travel estimate, or ETA at Port Heueneme on 8/28.

Look forward to others, "in the same boat," chiming-in with progress updates, etc. !

Thanks! I really hope I'm on this boat. Production ended on the 10th for me. Been at the port since the 24th.

I'm here too! Production finished 7/23 (original estimate was 7/22) and I just found out this morning we're already underway! Also an M4 convertible.

The ship is in the English Channel and has slowed to about 1 knot. Southampton is the next port and it looks like it's waiting to head into the port.

Awesome. Looks like a couple of you know how to track the boat. Keep the updates coming. The phone line will be useless now. Also, any idea on how many days before the cars get on truck carriers?

My CA said ETA to the dealership in Portland would be first week of Sep, which is about 900 miles away from Oxnard.

Ship should arrive at Port Hueneme (Ventura County North of LA) on the 28th. Then spend a few days being unloaded and prepped at the BMW facility there (VPC) then loaded onto a truck. Arrival at the dealership first week of September sounds reasonable depending where you are.

Here's the last position from earlier today before the ship went out of range of the free tracking service. We should get more updates as the ship approaches land again in the Caribbean. If there's interest in the Atlantic crossing I might subscribe to the satellite tracking.

I wouldn't spend any money for the premium service. It's watching paint dry. Check back in a couple weeks.
