What would you want off MSRP for a 2017 leftover?

Stickers @ $82k. Been sitting at a the port for over a year since they don't have space on their lot.

Pretty sure there are $4,000 in manufacturer rebates off the bat.

Worried with it just sitting for a year. But good news is that it doesn't have any test drive miles.

Thoughts?

This would likely be a purchase.

Thanks,
Josh

Minimum is $10000 off; that’s $4000 below invoice (if those are the current incentives) and before last model year depreciation, and without dealer fees and taxes.

Offer what you calculate is fair in your market and then let them work it out, IMO.

Strange, one of local dealer also has one 2017 M3

That means the SM or GM wanted too much money for it, doubt there was no bite on an M3.

Agree with this. So many people on this forum have been hunting out a deal.

I was able to get a 2018 M3 with $75500 MSRP for $11,000 off, 0% financing for 60 months, new in December, due to the holiday incentives. I would be concerned that it is a 17,with an extra year of depreciation, costing you at least $4000-$5000 more. I hate to say it but for a 17, I wouldn't consider it for less than $14000-$15000 off with an MSRP around $80K or more.

Agreed. I got just shy of 16k off my 2018 M3. However, that is not a deal anyone will be able to replicate since I did it during the Nov-Dec holiday time.

Did you post up the details of your deal in the pricing thread? What was your MSRP, $80K+? That's a huge savings even back in the NOV/DEC timeframe.

I posted all of the details over on Bimmerfest. 84.5k MSRP and 15.7k discount. As I said, no one will replicate my deal. I have a very good relationship with the sales manager at my dealer.

I can vouch for his deal. It's legit.
