For a 'limited' edition of 550 units, too many units to hold MRSP pricing. Look at all the 'flippers' trying to unload M4 GTS's. Too bad production is around 6 months as 1 year into the new model cycle is when pricing moves from MRSP to invoice.

BMW NA usually 'locks out' ED pricing for 1st year of new M series, so M3 CS will never be available for ED pricing and new M5 not until 2019 for ED pricing. Time to pay up.

You're looking at the "pseudo-individual" colors that cost $1950, while "true" indie colors go for $5000+.

Or just get the F80 ZCP at ~80 and call it a day...that works too.

LOL - sometimes it actually happens. Like the really rich dude who really needs to show that he's really rich so he'll have anyone and anybody drive a few of his own cars to the same meet. ha

Been like that since the F8x released. Get one fully loaded, CCB, leather, M Perf exhaust and accessories gets you that 100k+ M3/4

Always the used market in year or two.
A well optioned f80 CP - can be had for $80k.

When you get up towards $100k the m3 is no longer a compelling option in my opinion.

I mean come on, if you have a GT2-RS, you can stop and have a beer waiting on the M4 CS waiting to catch up. You wouldn't want anyone at the meet to see that.

Quite honestly, they can price it at $100K all they want but BMW needs to provide a better package. The 10HP increase over the CP is simply not enough. Still well below the Alfa QV. Brakes improvement? Nope. Suspension coilovers? Nope.

What exactly are we getting for this price tag? Not much. Seats? Looks like the 30 Jahre seats, who cares. Delete centre arm rest? Isn't this supposed to be an every day car? I don't understand the intent of this car.

No thanks.

Thanks for posting that. I guess I didn't realize M3 CS prices were already announced for other markets. So yes, to me it looks like the M4 CS is the value "winner" (in what is a somewhat dubious contest to begin with). I would, however, be remiss if I did not mention that the M3 CS has couple features the M4 CS doesn't such as a better radio and door storage. Though those are marketed as contributing to the "lightweight" cabin of the M4 CS (in reality the weight savings are minuscule).

I am pretty sure that's a typo. Has to be 10K not 1K. Unless they remove the OLED's.

You’ll get space but it comes with less fun.

Are you just arguing with me now to argue? My OPINION is that for that amount of money, namely $98k including destination I could possibly get a base M5 for ED (which right now seems unlikely for the M3 CS) or a 911 with options without sweating the price difference too much.

I guess my point is that when we start getting closer to $100k, there are many more options for not that much money more. Relatively of course.

Basically, no M3, no matter how special, is worth $100k in my opinion. But again my opinion

No, it’s just funny what people expecting. A ZCP F80 or F82 can cost easily 86K without individual options. The F80 CS got most GTS goodies and more power, how you can sell it for 90$? Take a ZCP add the hood, wheels, carbon parts and see how much it is and you still do not have the tune.

A used M3 Cs would be nice, but $97,400 for a brand new one? Definitely not worth it since that's a brand new 911 Carrera moolah right there!

With that price tag, it's PCAR > M3 Cs for me EVERYTIME!

Can't believe how expensive the M3 Cs is...

Also, Alpha QV is starting to look nice now... Hehehehee

I highly doubt the M4CS is going to have an MRSP of $10K more than the M3CS.

My guess is the price differential is going to similar to what it is between the standard coupe and sedan. Maybe an extra grand or two due to the OLED tails.
