That is one of my local dealers. I stopped by just to check it out as I don't think I've ever seen that color. I would never buy a color like that, but it is stunning in person, especially with the CF bits etc.

x2 - I canceled my order and reordered with full leather because I didn't realize how much a difference that makes to the interior - worth every penny. When you have every other option - individual color, MPE, CF trim etc etc, and not order full leather

Yeah that's a head-scratcher. Full leather is a must imho if you aren't going with the speed cloth.

Why spend this much on an M4 when you could get a 911 for around the same price?

Nice colour but they installed the wrong transmission in that car.

Base 911 is so unappealing to me. Once you spec it appropriately it's like 120k+

Opposite for me. Individual color here and the only option I opted for was LED lighting. I wish full leather was available a la carte because I love my cloth seats but also love the full leather dash.

But I agree with your "When you have every other option..." statement.

This speed yellow is in the $100s and these people loved it (vert, CCBs, CP, Ind Mkr speed yellow interior trim, black leather with yellow stitching)

Big difference between someone loving to look at a car and actually buying it.

Hmm... the 991.2 though is much better from a 'base' car standpoint than previous gen... drove them back to back -- the base is more fun. The way I was going to option mine it came to $109k MSRP --- (6 speed, GT silver metallic w/ red/black full leather interior, base wheels, base 4 way sport seats, bose, sunroof in glass, sport chrono, sport exhaust). The way I optioned my 991.2 S was ~$122k... just felt like I was wasting ~$13k.

However, I bought a 981 Spyder instead, in Guards Red. It's a way more fun car to drive, will hold it's value (paid right around sticker) better, and was under $100k. It's probably a fair bit quicker than the base 7mt 911 would have been as well.
