Actually the E92 was actually scheduled to receive its licence plate located in the bumper when the car was going through the process of calling the M3 the M4 before the deciding vote that dismissed the E92 as the 4er.

Autobild showed that feature aswell because it was put forward to distinguish the cars further but rejected at the last minute.

Bar the missing rear reflectors and the M5/M6 wheels it is overall an exact rendition of the finished car.

Well, if nothing else, judging by the Ferrari render, one can expect that the real thing will look better than their render. LOL

FWIW, I like the yellow mirrors, especially since they are the color of the car's body and not just straight black as with the non-black sedans.

I agree... in the same vein... why does one media site (this one) need to call out another media (car) site as being wrong? is this news?

I'm calling bullshit.

We've seen the car testing and we've already seen that the exhausts are closer to the center of the car like the E46 and E9x. On this render the exhausts are set to the outside of the bumper? Clearly a bad render.

In appearance only , mirrors still wrong but we have seen the aerodynamic packet in recent scoop photographs to know that its almost , if not exact.

Yes, they will put badges all over the car, because all engine sound what you can hear comes speakers, so nobody can´t recognize that car is M-series.
