I am more than sure based of previous speculation and Scott26's post this is 98% it.

Horrible... Almost everything is wrong in these renders. So amateur....
Look at the exhaust tips, they just copy pasted it off the M5... and no hood buldge? We can say the same for the mirrors too. These guys think they can fool us haha...
Move on people, NOTHING to see here...

So despite all the niche models BMW are producing, they still look like they won't produce the one model I want to buy, namely the F31 M3, leaving the market wide open for Merc and Audi :

a manfacturer once had an ad campaign.... "We will sell no wine before its time."

you, on the other hand, simply have plenty of time to whine.....

you can always go buy that Merc or that Audi that's *so tantalizing* in the in the meantime...... and then dump it and lose a ton of cash (especially on the Merc) when the car you really want comes out.

I am skeptical of their claim that the engine is based upon the upcoming B58 (N55 replacement). The development cycles seem to be too out of sync for that. I guess we'll find out later this year.

I'd prefer they dont waste resources on producing an M3 station wagon that won't sell in even remotely acceptable numbers (as history predicts).

A better use of those resources would be for things like other exciting sports cars. I'd rather see an M8 or F8x M3/M4 CSL or Z4M or some type of mid engine sportscar.

Another big issue that I'm noticing with all this new generation of BMWs, is how much they look like each other. After years of criticizing Audi for having all of their cars look the same, it seems to me that BMW has taken the same route.

I've mistaken an F30 with an F10 more than a couple of times (specially from the back), the F32 is going to be a reduced version of the 6 series, the upcoming 3GT looks like an F30 with an inflated ass, the new 7 series is just an enlarged version of the F10, the Gran Coupe is identical to the coupe equivalent but with 2 more doors, etc...

Every BMW before the Adrian van Hooydonk era was unmistakably a BMW, but they never looked like each other. I doubt anybody has ever mistaken an E36 with an E34, or an E46 with an E39.

Bar the missing rear reflectors and the M5/M6 wheels it is overall an exact rendition of the finished car.
There's your answer. If Scott26 calls it as an accurate rendition of the finished car I for one am willing to accept that (thanks Scott)

Looks sick.

Doesn't look bad with the m5 wheels either ....

BUT the exhaust position isnīt correct ... normally the M3 has its exhaust pipes located more in the middle ... like shown on all spypics ... on the CAR rendering they are more like the M5/M6 ones ... Right ???
