I'm not sure if that was the same driver, but the race car driver was taking way better lines than the f80 driver.
IMO the f80 lap was not clean at all, while the e30 driving was awesome. Sick e30! |

The m3 seems very sloppy around those turns. Too prone to oversteer, as evidenced by all the moron reporters drifting it in almost every other video.

4 seconds is pretty impressive considering how old the E30 and how fast the F80 was in reviews!
Another reason why the E30 will remain my favourite BMW. |

Here's a test by SportAuto of the a tuned E92 from awork-x also pretty sloppy and hard to control despite having suspension upgrades. Think just the weight of these cars not helping in tight/technical track

E30 for the win, that F80 looked sloppy and very underwhelming to me.
The E30 sounded great, refreshing to see a real M car... |

Different drivers, and the f80 driver was def not as experienced. But great video of the e30!

LOL at the comments above... of course th F80 seems 'sloppy" after watching the race car....it has an extra 900 pounds to cart around, and is a street car. WTF do you expect??
